How to layer Pendants for a Unique Look

Having the same look everyday can be boring! Often times, you’ll put together an outfit for work, school, or a party, and a simple accessory like earrings, a bracelet, or a necklace completes your look. One style of accessory that almost always works whether your style is chic, classic, urban, formal or casual is Pendants. You can try layering pendants to elevate your look and mix things up. It’s fun to come up with your own unique break

But, how to go about doing it? Simple, just find a few necklaces and pendants in different lengths, and put them together and make your own style statement.

Layering pendants can add a unique twist to any outfit, which is always fun!

  1. Choose the right sizes:

One large statement piece is always great as the longest layer (a bit more on that in a moment). A string of beads works well as the longest layer too, but you’d want to make sure the accompanying pendants are moderately sized. Three small or medium sized pendants can also layer together very well. Another fun look would be two or three pendants in graduating sizes from small to large.

  1. Length of Layer:

Once you have a right sized Pendant the next thing to keep in mind is the length of layer for your pendant. Typically differences in pendant, chain, or necklace length are best in 2″ increments. For example, 16″ 18″ and 20″ would be great lengths for the individual pieces in a layered look.

Try out your own unique style and embrace layers with pendants.
